Featuring an exciting mix of artists and makers, the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) will entertain young kids with two FREE creativity-packed events this summer. Kids Day in Downtown Guelph takes place in St Georges Square from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday July 3rd and Wednesday August 7th.
Aimed at kids 8 and younger, the event is a free, fun and interactive way to spark the imagination. Visit the many tents in St. George’s Square that showcase the numerous creative outlets #DowntownGuelph has to offer. Kids can partake in creating something with materials from the Guelph Public Library’s tinker cart, create cardboard animals with Guelph School of Art, button make with The Handmade Den, create clay structures with Play with Clay, sew with SewKids, and much more.
PLUS! Come try your hand in introductory juggling skills with Naomi Stager. This is a fun and interactive space to learn.
And of course get your face painted with Miss Kitty Face Painting (also free!).
This is a rain or shine event.
