Land of Talk (Montreal):
Land of Talk is a brash and buzzy indie rock band formed in 2006 from Montreal, Quebec. After 2010’s Clock and Cipher, the band went on an extended hiatus, and then blew all our minds last year with the release of Life After Youth. Singer and guitarist Elizabeth Powell will be performing solo from the Land of Talk repertoire.
James Gordon & Sons (Guelph):
Guelph’s own James Gordon will be joined by his son Evan (and possibly Geordie) for a set by the best father-son supergroup that ever was. http://www.jamesgordon.ca/music/
This show is also CFRU’s 38th birthday celebration, come celebrate with us!
The Red Papaya is a physically accessible location.
