Pat Robitaille has always embraced the adventures of life. As a teenager, on the strength of his homemade demos, the honey-voiced songwriter found himself rubbing shoulders with the elite hit-makers of the U.S. recording industry in Los Angeles and Nashville. The scene proved a little daunting for the young singer, though, and he returned home to make music on his own terms. Now, four records into an independent career that has seen Robitaille top the Much More Music countdown and share the stage with such luminaries as The Tragically Hip and Gordon Lightfoot, Robitaille’s life has taken another new turn.
