Music Lives!

Guy and a Half at The Red Papaya Friday, March 13, 9:00PM

Guy and a Half are a great band, with questionable math skills, but incredible musical skills, and when’s the last time you saw a great band play and say “I wish they were better at long division”? The trio (so there’s at least two times as many as you’d think) is made up of Chad Morey on Bass and Vocals, Jeremy Pink on Guitar and Vocals and Derek Prince-Cox on Drums and Vocals. They cover the most important equation: They rock!

The band plays covers from the 50s to today. While they play some songs you might expect, it’s not unusual for them to pull out something that you didn’t expect, like In the Meantime by Spacehog. Their version of Foo Fighters’ Monkey Wrench, in which they share vocals back and forth is always a show favourite. Every member of the band can play anything they want, and what they do with these songs is always great.

They hit the stage at The Red Papaya at 9pm, and you don’t want to miss any of it.
