This Saturday at the Wooly, be prepared for a blast of rootsy rock n roll from Guelph’s own Loyal Sun Dogs. The band will be playing the best in classic rock as well as songs from their upcoming album.
Jason Henderson’s voice carries depth and soul, and fits the tone of the band like a glove. Jonathon Nobels’s keys add a sparkle to the meaty rhythms provided by bassist Mike Kirkwood and drummer Farmer Phil.
The Loyal Sun Dogs bring a solid rock edge to their covers, whether it be the soulful dynamic rendition of Joe Cocker’s A Little Help From My Friends, or an edgy take on Elvis Costello’s Pump it Up, there’s something for everyone here.
The event is presented in part by Turtleshell Studio.
