Dismaj
Dismaj is a progressive ska/surf/gypsy-rock group from Cambridge, Ontario. The band is noted for its fresh, original, and energetic take on West-coast style rock.
The group found its conception in 2009 when Avo and Jake came together with their separate inspirations, ranging from classic rock, Armenian folk, and progressive metal, among others. In late 2010, shortly after Dave was recruited as the bassist, Sven was drawn into the picture through serendipitous means. By their combined superpowers, Dismaj was born. The group is now out and beginning to hit the scene. They will be recording an EP in the coming months.
