    Ivory Hours (London, ON)

Ivory Hours is a sassy alt-pop trio from London, Ontario. The band was formed by Luke Roes (Vocals/Guitar) in 2012 and features Chris Levesque (Bass) and Thomas Perquin (Drums).

It’s been a big year for Ivory Hours. Amidst constant touring, the London, Ontario natives hit the studio to record their debut full-length album ‘Morning Light’ – a collection of infectious pop tunes co-produced by Dan Brodbeck (The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan) and mastered by Joao Carvalho (Lights, Stars).

After releasing the album on June 9th 2015 the band went on to win 102.1 The Edge’s ‘Next Big Thing’, garnering their first commercial airplay for the single ‘Warpaint’. Within weeks they announced their grand prize win of the Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artist Mentorship Program. Shortly after the band announced a national tour for spring 2016.

With ‘Warpaint’ spreading on radio and online with the help of a clever stop-motion video, a new album and acoustic release in the works, a MuchFACT funded video for ‘Dreamer’ just released and a hometown brimming with support, it’s safe to say Ivory Hours is riding an upward spiral.

    The Medicine Hat (Hamilton, ON)
    https://www.facebook.com/TheMedicineHat/
Preaching the poetry and prose of their unapologetic, youthful exploits, The Medicine Hat delivers a live performance of biblical intensity.
They’re the rolling thunder of the electric organ, the hypnotic textures of analog circuitry, dancing with a humbucker howl that’s more passion than precision. They’re the heavy lines and dangerous grooves carved out by a drum and bass combo born in dirty bars and schooled in concert halls. They’re the warm, raw embrace of a feminine voice – at once ethereal and forthright. They’re steeltown crunch and big city charm. And they’re writing pop songs together.
The bastard daughter of a now married couple, and the lovechild of five friends, The Medicine Hat is “a nuptial dance floor on speed.”.
The Medicine Hat is Aaron Hoffman, Elliott Gwynne, Michael Boyd, and Tyler & Nabi Bersche.

    Common Deer (Toronto, ON)
    https://www.facebook.com/commondeermusic/?fref=ts
Common Deer came together in 2014 to begin crafting musical performances that would resonate. The band has deep familial ties, having two sets of siblings in the 5 man troop, and utilizes the deep bonds they have with each other to compose music which invites audiences to feel at one with the group.

Inspired by the integration of classical string instruments into modern riffs, the band formed around Adam’s mastery of classical cello, and Graham’s violin, leveraging strings as the springboard for their self dubbed Orchestral Indie.

All aspects of the band’s music derive from a central focus on classical strings, merging old European composition with the western frontier folk story.
