John Muirhead is a Canadian indie/folk/rock artist based in Toronto, ON. From fingerpicked folk confessionals to upbeat singalongs, John’s award-winning songs have touched audiences across Canada and beyond. Touring relentlessly across Canada, Europe, and South America, John is building a tight-knit community of listeners all around the world. His live show is a “must-see” – whether it’s in a living room or sharing stages with the likes of Noah Kahan, Joel Plaskett, Arkells, and Craig Cardiff. With influences including Frank Turner, Neil Young, Bright Eyes, and The Weakerthans, and working with songwriting mentors John K. Samson and Terra Lightfoot, John is creating meaningful roots-inspired music. John’s latest release, Traveller, was nominated for a Folk Music Ontario award for Album of the Year.
CJ Cooper is certainly making a name for herself. Performing for companies like the National Bank Open, Sportsnet, TD Bank and the CFL. She has opened for Bif Naked at Canadian Music Week and played at the London Music Hall. CJ Cooper has been awarded a Community Hero Award, voted Top Local Musician in Guelph and placed second in the Music In Motion Songwriting Awards. She has released two albums and toured on the Toronto to Vancouver ViaRail train. She is currently working on her third album and recently performed in Sweden at the Lilla By Festivalen as a featured artist, representing Canada.
