Katie Chadwick & Kevin Mak

Kevin is a pianist, composer and educator based out of Hamilton, Ontario. Kevin grew up in Guelph, but after being introduced to jazz by his teacher, Thomas Hammerton, he decided to move to Hamilton to study music at Mohawk College. Kevin has since been performing and writing music with many different bands and projects in different styles and influences from jazz, classical, pop, funk, and more and was the winner of the 2020 Dundas Valley Orchestra Composition Competition.
Katie has been singing since she was 8 years old and continues to pursue her love for music. Recording covers with her uncle for her Youtube channel and playing gigs for her family are just the start of what music means to her. Adele and Alanis Mourisette are her biggest inspirations. Graduating from Mohawk college for Music in 2021, Katie has learned the ins and outs of a musician and is thankful for all the tips and support her professors have given her!

Kevin and Katie have been performing gigs together since 2020, and are so grateful to be playing back at manhattans!
