BABYSITTER – With a new psyched-out grunge punk masterpiece ready for this show, one of Canada’s best rock ‘n roll bands return to Guelph. After 1000 releases, the new LP (with perfect cover art by Marc Bell), mixes Babysitter’s energy, humor, and hooks with The Fall’s post-punk leanings and Royal Trux’s avant shreddery. As compelling as a live show gets.
HAG FACE – This ferocious witch punk four piece out of Calgary is coming to Guelph for the first time. With their first LP, RIP, in tow, HAG FACE stampedes through punk, post-punk and metal, mixing all of their influences into a pummelling, harsh, melodic explosion. Their splits with Shearing Pinx, Strange Attractor, Babysitter are outstanding, but still pale in comparison to how these platinum blonds RIP it up on stage.
START SOMETHING – Guelph’s most grown start and stop post-pop-punk three piece are back with anthems of neck-vein popping intensity.
