Guelph’s Foods are a self-proclaimed “self-destructing synth-grunge pop” band. Fronted by Tyson Brinacomb and rounded out by Carloyn Fielding and Chris Fast, Foods recalls the Rentals, The Residents and the early days of Beck. This band makes music for your summer trips to the beach and are the fuzzed out soundtrack to the after-after party dance floor. Foods will nourish you at the pancake breakfast, and fill you with the energy you need for the rest of the day.

Whether she is spearheading adventurous projects like her musical, Thelma: A Country Opera, or as a core part of some of Southern Ontario’s most interesting projects like Le Cyc or Blimp Rock, Claire Whitehead thinks big. While Claire thinks — and accomplishes — “the big”, her real skill is how she can do it all while connecting on an intimate level. Whatever she does, she always manages to bring you in. Claire Whitehead is what you call a Kazoo! fav.
Pseudo Band // https://www.instagram.com/therealpseudoband/
If you were to believe them, Pseudo Band isn’t a real band – but evidence suggests they are more than they claim. Whilst winning fans one backyard show at a time, this pop/rock art band quintet will charm you with their earnestness yet impress you with their potential. After cutting their teeth on a variety of contemporary covers, they will premiere some new originals at Kazoo! Fest. Pseudo Band may be in denial of the fact that they exist but we can assure you that they are not only real – but probably the coolest new band in Gwelf.
