Kazoo! Fest at The Cornerstone : Bonnie Trash + Surfing on Acid

The Cornerstone is thrilled to, once again, be a presenting sponosor at Kazoo! Fest. This year, we are teaming up to present two of the best Guelph has to offer — Bonnie Trash and Surfin on Acid.

    Saturday, April 9th
    9PM
    ALL AGES
    PWYC

    Bonnie Trash (9pm)
Twin sisters that shred, creating songs that wouldn’t sound out of place on the “To Live and Die in LA” soundtrack. Soaring vocals, innovative ‘80s-sounding guitar wailing and programming – it all comes together to make songs that hint at nostalgia while looking to a dystopian future. The cool kids at the party have arrived.

    Surfing on Acid (10pm)
Surfing on Acid brings the good vibes. Although you may have heard his work with Guelph alternative rock band from East to Exit, Jon Charles has now branched out to do solo work, producing dreamy psychedelic sounds influenced by the music of the 1960s, with a nod to Homeshake and Tame Impala. It’s a rare treat to see Charles perform, and one you definitely won’t wanna miss.
