Steve and co’s debut album was nominated for two ECMA awards, and took home MusicNL’s Rising Star of the Year. It was also shortlisted for the Borealis Prize, and led them to open for acts like Amelia Curran, The Wooden Sky, and Hey Rosetta! They’ve been described as “Operatic-Indie”.. come decide for yourself!
Milk & Honey is a duet project from Guelph, Ont between Gordon Auld (Lowlands) and Alanna Gurr. The two make sultry, old time folk music, with banjo, guitar, and two beautiful voices leading a calmed charge.
Rube & Rake create gorgeous songs with haunting harmonies, in the vein of the Everly Brothers. Travelling from NL.
