Don’t miss the return to Guelph of The Human Rights, the 9-piece Canadian modern roots reggae explosion featuring Friendlyness of Big Sugar who are touring behind their phenomenal new album and in support of the cause of refugee relief! They’re joined by Guelph’s finest reggae crew, Foundation Steppas, with Friendlyness spinning strictly roots.
*** NEW ALBUM OUT FRIDAY MARCH 11th***
Foundation Steppas is coming at you brand new second hand! Lead by Frontman Mike Barrett (lead vocals/guitar), the band features 3 piece horn section (Chelsea Desaulnier – trombone, Mike Francis – tenor sax, Ryan Robson – trumpet) and a new rhythm section (Sean Marriott – drums, Jesse Turton – bass, Todd Britton – organ/keys).
Foundation Steppas brings the same classic soulful roots foundation that audiences have come to love from this Guelph based reggae crew.
Along with the new line up, Foundation Steppas returns with new flavours to their sound including new material as well as a fresh take on reggae standards from the likes of Jackie Mittoo, Gregory Isaacs, and The Mighty Diamonds. All proving that “foundations were meant to be built upon!!”
