Long, long ago in a Guelph far in the past, Music Lives was more than just a live music calendar. We used to be a hub for the local music scene. We printed magazines. We posted show reviews. We highlighted new albums being released from local bands. Ah, the good old days.

We miss them so much, we’ve decided to bring back the blog. And we’re pretty excited at the lineup of contributors interested in sharing their music news on the website.

What can you expect?

The live music listings, of course. The calendar will always be the centre of the Music Lives website.

In addition, we’ll be sharing local music news like band interviews, album reviews, opinion pieces, show highlights, and news from the Music Lives team.
